Mystic Squid is a 7-piece, Lexington, KY based ensemble that blends elements of jazz, indie, rock, and soul. Drawing inspiration from bands like Snarky Puppy and playing mostly original tunes with a few covers sprinkled in: guitar, bass, and drums provide the groovy foundation as horn, flute, and violin take a trip to funky town. With rooted vocals and tight harmonies, you’ll come for the croon and stay for the vibes.
